Dorothy Shoes
Whenever I wear My Dorothy shoes I know I will win I know I can't lose For they have the power To turn things around To let me fly high (With my feet on the ground) I've worn them at times When I've been interviewed And been given the job (It's the luck they exude) I've worn them to work On one of those days Where a little red sparkle Cuts through the malaise It's those shoes I opt for Whenever I need A confidence boost As they help me succeed There's something quite special How it works, I don't know I defended my thesis With those shoes on my toes! And though their red heels Are a little too tall My Dorothy shoes Are my favourite of all

Ah Steve! Your response made me smile. Love the Tin Man and always love your comments. ❤️
I love this happy little poem. Sometimes I wish I had little red shoes that I could tap together and end up wherever I want it to go.
