I didn’t sew it, Trudi, the size was perfect for a particular window. I just used clips with a hook you can use for a shower curtain, and attached them.
Trudi, I do admire things of old. They just don’t put much effort in most of today’s works. I have four old pieces of furniture and they’re amazing. The detail is so intricate and I will never part with them. I also love old clothes from Victorian days. This was a lovely poem. 💖
G'morning, Trudi. Love the poem. I've always loved antique shops. What's funny is, now I'm seeing "antiques" that I lived with as "modern" back in my day. Makes me wish I held onto stuff. Could have sold it in antique shops and made a fortune today!
And if not possible to restore/renovate, upcycle! A lovely old bedspread, no longer usable since too heavy, became a winter curtain.
Joyce that’s brilliant and I wish I could sew!

That’s genius, Joyce! ❤️
Thank you, Trudi 💙💫
Love this, Trudi. Such a great way to counteract the built in obsolescence and materialism.
The older I become the more wasteful we all seem, Heidi! Buying once-loved goods makes sense!✨
That makes my wife an unrivaled historian!
I bet she’s a good one, R.V. 🌟

This is true, Jo-Ann. Their lack craftsmanship just isn’t there anymore. I love antiques! 🤗✨
This reads so rhythmic, love it ✨🧡
I’m glad you felt the rhythm, Simone! 🤗✨

I think the same, C.J. I used to sell vintage jewellery and it was so much fun! ✨
So beautiful. I was just reading it out aloud to myself and noticed rhyme rolling off my tongue. Love your work Trudi ✨️❤️
I’m pleased you like this one, Saira! ✨🤗
My pleasure! I always love your work and look forward to it ✨️🤗
Thank you! 🙏 that means a lot, Saira.🤗
My pleasure! ✨️🤗
Yeah. As you may imagine I might just agree
Glad I’m in good company, Steve!
