Great poem, Trudi! I’ve met a lot of strangers this week as I’ve been at the biggest radiology meeting in the world, about 50K participants, held in Chicago. It’s reinforced my belief that we all have some connection, some thread that binds us, and it’s so gratifying and interesting to meet new people. I took the train to Chicago and sat at a table with three complete strangers. During the 5-hour trip, there was a constant conversation between us, and we all agreed when we got to Union Station we were going to take more trains and do something like this again. This week, I’ve sat and talked with strangers from all over the world on the bus, in conferences and at exhibits, and I’ve learned so much about other countries and other jobs and ways of doing things. Everyone has a story for you if you listen!
