Maybe "unblazed" (like an unblazed trail?)

"The stars that guide to the terminator" occurred as I was debating whether to read the piece as ironic. It speaks to me somewhat in that key anyway. I do think "unblazed" would improve on "unfazed," the latter having eluded my grasp in the context.

Hi Tom! I think blazed works, too. Unfazed as in none of this bothers us - the being unknown etc. I would struggle to write an ironic pice but it’s interesting it might come across that way!
