I love this. What a great area of expertise to have. Dreaming and daydreaming are so important to our lives, and to the world also I think. And free indeed.
The elegant, poetic beauty of your self-reflection moves me. I read it as an ode to writer’s block with an allowance to the writer to be patient and gentle with herself. Lovely.
Great piece. As an expert dreamer you carry the dreams of people who never learnt to do it or fear to do it. It’s a big job, because the dreams never dreamt wither and turn to ashes. Dreams that stay alive keep traveling until they find a home💖
This: "Spend time allowing my mind to roam freely, before pulling the threads of magic that I find and weaving them into stories and poems to share with other dreamers. "
I'm reading a book (if I can just figure out where I left my Kindle!) called "Solitude" by Michael Harris, and his chapter on daydreaming (dreaming again!) speaks to the value of allowing one's mind to roam. That chapter resonated with me and so does this beautifully crafted reflection.
Womderful ideas about dreams, Trudi. I have always been interested in dreams and, yes, I do think they contain messages for us. Dreams tell us our fears and desires, what our mind is truly thinking of. What is the difference between a good night's sleep and a restless night is what happens in the dream world. I used to keep a dream journal when young; I should return to writing down my dreams.

I couldn’t agree more! Our dreams keep us tethered to the realm of possibilities ✨

I’ve just started noting dreams I can remember, Perry. Sometimes I’m too late and they fade. But I’m getting better!
Thank you Trudi, I love this! Sweet dreams to you 💭🤗💖
And to you! ✨
