Morning
Glinting in
The early morning sunlight
Caught off guard
The garnet-coloured dragonfly
Displayed wings
Etched in gold
Like shards of
Tiffany glass
Hovering gracefully
Darting quickly
Over azure ripples
No reflection necessary
To confirm
Beauty exists
This poem exhibits for me exactly what it means to love God's creation as it is in all it's splendour, without wanting to alter anything. Trudi, I must look more closely at dragonflies!
