Salvation

I call upon the Gods above
To show me how to channel love
To show me how, when days are long
To keep my heart fire burning strong

I call upon each element
To demonstrate a soul's lament
To demonstrate, when all feels lost
How to survive, despite the cost

I call upon the starry skies
To witness truth and stamp out lies
To witness those we will forgive
And through atonement, all will live

I call upon pure consciousness
To save us from this sorry mess
To save us from the harm we cause
Through turning backs and closing doors

I call upon the earth below
To teach us what it takes to grow
To teach us how to recognise
The place where true salvation lies
