What a beautiful poem, Trudi. I particularly liked the last verse and felt as I was reading it that I was reading a poem by Emily Dickinson because of the way it makes something that could be classified as an ordinary, everyday event quite extraordinary in that it imbues it with heavenly significance.
your poem made me remember the sunrise of yesterday while I sat by the porch just watching and uncaring it damages my skin. This is so gorgeous Trudi. As always, you are absolutely amazing.♥️
Like the morning sky, your poetry is so beautiful! Gorgeous photo, and your words give me a sense of hope that no matter what, the earth will wake and the morning will come. 🙏
Hi, Trudi. Thank you for your poem. I watch the sunrise every day, whenever the weather permits. I get up early just to see it. I think it’s a magical moment, a metaphor for life, as if each sunrise represented yet another opportunity we have.
It’s one of the elements of what I call the “Universal Web,” which I describe in this poem

Today I saw the sunrise
Saw the sky as part of me
Felt the threads of a connection
In one moment, eternity
Martin, that means so much - thank you! It is the ordinary moments like these that I treasure.✨
Martin, that is my favourite verse too. 😊
Thank you, Grace!
Don’t tell Trudi, but I wish I had written it. That’s how I know it’s good.
I'm grinning here! I won't tell her!🤗

I love seeing the sunrise, too Rolando. I don't see it every day as often it has been cloudy, but today's was spectacular!✨
